few questions to start with.

Is there a firewall on the computer that is running Apache?

Can you access the server by using the LOCAL IP address of the computer running Apache. Like 192.168.1.100

Do you have a DMZ option on your router?

What OS are you running Apache on?

It sounds like it is probably a firewall issue to me but if you have a DMZ setting that you can point to the computer running the server, then you'll know for sure. This will basically open ALL inbound and outbound ports to that computer and all requests will go to that computer as a result.

If you still cannot access the server, then it is a setting on that machine. WinXP SP2 has an advanced firewall package with it that has to be configured to allow your server to be seen by other computers. Any other software firewall will need to have an exception for port 80 as well.

somebody understanding your IP handle potential exceedingly lots no longer something as its rather elementary to locate it without you telling them. in case you prefer to alter your public IP handle then attempt switching your router off for 5 mms then decrease back on back. If that would not artwork then you definately've a static IP out of your ISP and you will't do something approximately it.

i have understood, what you want to do,

go to pc from where you want to access server application,

go to 127.0.0.1 is write,,,,,,,,,go to next line

type your server ip address press tab then \\server (like below example)

127.0.0.1

120.120.120.2 \\server

save your file,,,,,,,,,,

go to internet explore, type the url and access........

I am sure, it will resolve your problem.
