Question:
Why do my wireless routers keep breaking?

I have been using Linksys routers for a long while because I thought they were good quality. My first one lasted about 2-3 years until the wireless broke. Then, every one I have bought has ended up like this:

The first one I bought just would not work from the start.
The second one lasted about half a year
The third one lasted about half a year

Now, what I am wondering is: Is Linksys just a really bad router? Should I go with another company like D-Link? And why does the wireless keep breaking on these routers?

Thank you.

what do you mean "wireless breaking"? You do not see the SID anymore?

What models? Often, it is interference. Do you have cordless phones? What type and frequency? Could it be your neighbors?

I don't have a wireless all in one, I use a Linksys wired with a Netgear wireless, but I haven't seen a consumer model router die in many years.

apparently you don't have a clue what you doing with routers

i've used and installed linksy routers for years and rarely have trouble with them

you are not setting them up right or config them right

do you ever reboot then or update the flash ram?

sounds like not the router it the user
