So I've never had this problem until today. Just randomly my internet started going really slow and then no matter what website, I'd get some error and the message "[so and so website] can't be found because the DNS look up failed". This seems to happen randomly. It works for a while, then it goes really slow again, I get the error. I reset the router and everything, then it works again, but it just keeps coming back. Is there anyway I can fix this? What is causing it? I didnt change anything. This just seemed to have happened randomly.

Could be several different things. If you are using WiFi, I would point the finger at your router loosing connection. Reboot the router and see if that fixes it, if it does, look into upgrading the firmware

It's possible, it could be DNS, to check DNS, go to the command prompt (click START, then RUN, then type CMD and click OK), at the command prompt, type:

ping 4.2.2.2 if you get REQUEST TIMED OUT, then your internet is down and your DNS is probably fine, if you get a REPLY then you need to reconfigure DNS.

Also, it's possible you have a malware infection that is crashing your internet, go to a PC that has internet and download COMBOFIX to a USB drive and run it on the PC with the issues.

The website your trying to watch will be put in to black list or the domain name would be masked.Check the domain names DNS details from the website http://www.whoisxy.com/dns-query.aspx for free of cost. You can get the domain name, owner name and other details. Also if the domain name is masked the proxy address will be displayed.

Because it was concocted by humans who desperatly needed an alternate explaination for the Creation without the Creator

It is a lie...and a poorly constructed one

I got the same problem, im done with the scanning part but it doesn't seem to have a spyware or malware in my system.

UP for this one.

You have a serious spyware infection. Download the free scanner from :

http://malwarebytes.org and run a full scan. If you can not get this to go correctly, restart in safe mode with networking on a wired connection (wireless will not do this) and try from there. This can be caused by ANY machine on your connection being infected.
