Hi,

We have 85+ Systems (XP) & Windows Server 2003 in our Network

&

We are having Internet Lease Line (through Fiber Media Converter to direct our network

Switch) with 32 IP Pool (e.g. 118.102.138.*/32)

Now we need to provide an internet to all nodes with using Just Using Maximum 5 to 7 out

of 32 Internet IPs

So how can I configure DHCP Scopeā€¦..?????

Please Anybody Guide us for Proper DHCP Method

To define DHCP requires Layer 3 router connected to your server then only try this. Otherwise it is not possible to create scope of any kind of DHCP any any server. If you want to just define NAT mode it can be done with required or not required computers that allow internet access. its a built in feature in every broadband modem or router. also need to configure your lease line link in NAT configuration with that device.

I'm kind of puzzled. What do you need DHCP for? To assign IP addresses to the computer? Don't they already have them?

If it were up to me, I'd setup a Linux box to act as a firewall/router. It can easily do DHCP to the 192.168.1.0/24 LAN and easily masquerade from multiple outside IP address to any number of addresses from your pool.

If you're paranoid, you can set up two such machines. Give each a chunk of addresses large enough to hold all your machines and give, say, 3 of our public addresses to each machine.
