Hi Guys,

I have a Teracom wi-fi modem provided by BSNL. I want to use it with desktop only (means want to connect through wire).

Please let me know if there is any setting that can be turned on or off to have the wi-fi router accessible/inaccessible to myself and other people.

Thanks in advance

Simplest method is by Turning off the WLAN button of your Modem and Wifi(WLAN) light will get off.You can turn it back on anytime you want. If you wanna turn off completely you can get into the IP 192.168.1.1 with the login credentials & disable the Wifi. Now no one can use your wifi connection and you can connect the LAN cable and enjoy Browsing. If you feel someone is using your Wifi connection means you can change Wifi Passwords by logging into the Modem IP an can change your Wifi password.Welcome anytime
