can someone help my psp is telling me a dns error has occured and in parentesis(8041040f)thats what it says?

yes i did all the steps to connect my psp to the internet and it gave me this error message connection to the server failed a dns error has occured (8041040f)

This error message is telling you that it can not find a DNS Server, check the setup on your PSP look for and make sure that you have entered in an IP address for your DNS Server. If you are not sure that it is the correct address use 4.2.2.1.



Also check your wireless router and make sure that 802.11e Qos if you have a Belkin router, I have heard problems of this type and not sure if all routers have the same impact.

That means that either the dns server is not responding, or it cannot find one. the dns is domain name system, and it converts addresses like google.com to the ip address 72.14.207.99.

first u need 2 get a wet cloth and wipe and wipe down the memory chip and it will forget a dns error has occured.
