i need to connect 2 VLANS together, the there are 4 PCs total and 2 are on a VLAN each and there must be 2 VLANs that need to be connected together using a switch so the VLANS can communicate between have other, 2 PCs are connected to make a VLAN. How can i get them to communicate to each other when the two VLANs are connected to the switch but are not yet responding.
Thanks full points to an explained answer.
Remember it has to be connected via Virtual local area network with a switch.

If you are using a L3 switch, then you can create VLAN interfaces to route between the VLANS.

This is better than the router-on-a-stick method (ROAS), as the routing is done in hardware vs software (ROAS).

It's very easy to setup, infact it's just one maybe two commands depending on the vendor.

For cisco, you simply do config# interface vlan 10 (substitute 10 for the relevant ID), and then give it an IP address etc

To have 2 vlans talk to eachother you will need to "route" between them.

You need a router.

If you had a cisco router, You would plug that into the switch. Turn the link to the router into a vlan trunk and configure ip addresses of 2 vlan interfaces on that cisco router.

The router will then do inter vlan routing.

You cannot get two different vlans to communicate with each other using only a switch. They are different lans, different networks entirely. And how do you get different networks to communicate with each other? By using a router. You need to configure a router to route between the two vlans.

Try to see if giving them the same Vlan ID will work.

Or you can look into Q tagging.

The ethernet cable from the modem is going into the internet wan port of one router, then one cable from one among those 4 different ports is going into the wan on the different router. then you extremely have as a lot as 7.
