well i m totally agree with pixel and would like to add something more......remember there are only two kinds of ips in the world .....one is private and the other is public

private ips used only in the limited boundaries or you can say a local area network where as public ips used on the internet ......without public ip you can't connect to the internet

so the protocol which convert your private ip to public ip is NAT network address translation and PAT port address translation

he is saying exactly right ........there are two kinda ip addressing static and dynamic

if your ISP is having Static pool then i guess your ip wont change untill three or four months and if your ISP is having dynamic pool then you will have different ip each time when you connect to the internet

Yes, you can. If using DYNDNS, or No-IP, you need to install the updater on the computers which is port forwarded or any computer in the network to auto-update.

tHEN if you host that to your router the next time you are assigned a new IP address it will be the one you hosted?

Yes. The updater will scan for new IPs every 5 seconds, which will auto-change it to the new IP.

It depends on your ISP. Some change very often, others change maybe once a year.

You are referring to the "static" IP. Most ISPs nowadays give static IPs, but some still give dynamics, so sadly, until your ISP changes its methods, you will have to live with that problem.

i do no longer know any that would desire to try this thoroughly for loose, yet maximum registrars might enable you do it with out extra fee. What application are you able to apply? nicely, that relies upon on what OS you're utilising, and what different kit. DD-WRT helps it on the router on the firmware, yet you have suggested no longer something, so it would be kinda stupid.
