i'm no longer an expert, yet once you have a static IP, yeah, it particularly is clever that a hacker who observed you sometime and tried hacking, will attempt back each few days for relaxing. in case you have a dynamic one that's easy with an undemanding kin dsl account, you will desire a clean IP handle each 24 hours. A shifting objective. unsure if it makes a brilliant distinction or no longer.

To hide your IP address, use a proxy. There are lots free floating around the internet. Just keep on trying them one by one.

To change the MAC address, change the network card. You can't give your own. It's hardcoded into the card's circuits.

If you don't want your router to recognize your PC, you simply won't be able to access the internet.

The IP address is needed to identify you as part of the network. You just can not change it randomly to whatever you like. You can hide under a proxy address but the fact still remains, you have your own IP address.

If you have security issues, beef up your PC's defense system. Anti-virus and other anti-malware programs are freely available. Set firewall to strict settings and be very selective of sites where you surf. Illegal downloading sites and porn sites tend to leave malware behind even if you did not download anything.

One of the best solutions I recommend is to completely abandon Microsoft Windows.

The router MUST know your IP address.

IF the router cannot know your IP address, and which network port it is assigned, your router will not connect to your PC.

Your IP address has to be one that the router manages - you can't just put in any IP address.

Why would you want to change the MAC on your local network? Unless you are stealing wireless from someone else, no need to change the MAC. Besides, the MAC, while it can be "disguised" over the network somewhat, is always part of your network card's fixed identity.

To hide IP address try TOr ( www.torproject.org ) or JAP ( anon.inf.tu-dresden.de/index_en.html ) or try free proxy server from http://www.proxyblind.org
