Tell your cousin to go to 'Help and Support' (Start-->help and support) and ask him to click on 'Support option on the upper side.

Next, a no. of options appear.

Ask him to click on "Ask a friend for help'

The best way that I have found is to go to logmein.com and sign up for the free version. Then have him follow the instructions to install the plugin on his end*, and you can log in whenever he needs help with something. As long as his internet connection is active, you have full access to help him with any problem he may have.

*Have him log in with your username and password on the website, and then he should click "Add Computer" and go through the setup wizard. Very simple! :o)

Have him open up port 3389 on his router and of course make sure rdp is turned on and have him go to whatsmyip and give you his ip address and login information.
