What you need to do is log into your router, and secure it.
Basically put a password that a computer must enter to connect to your network.
The easiest way do the following:
Assuming your a Windows user go this:
Start, run--> type "cmd" hit enter.
Black box pop's up type the following:
ipconfig
hit enter.
The last # it gives you, the "gateway" write down that # and type that in on the website.
http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 examples:
a user name and password box should pop up, ask your 'hubbie' for the password. It's probably admin for both user name and password or it could be admin for user name and password could be blank.
Once your in, go to the wireless tab and setup security.
What I usually tell my customers is do a WEP key 64bit and make it your phone number with the area code.
WEP are not as secure but for the issue's your having, it should work.
Also consider cleaning your computer. It probably has viruses and or spyware. For that I would recommend professional help.
