delete the workstation account in active directory on the server, log on locally, not the domain, with an administrator account on the workstation, take it off the domain and add it into workgroup, reboot, log on locally again and then join to domain, reboot and then you should be able to log on the domain.

do no longer permit the others scare you faraway from Vista, it has more suitable plenty because of the fact it first got here out. it is not buggy anymore and it somewhat is backwards-nicely suited with ninety 9.9% of XP classes. Plus, XP will quickly be unsupported by utilising Microsoft so it somewhat is applicable to head to their new working equipment. the only issues are: -It makes use of a dash extra RAM than XP, yet with 2 GB that's no longer a issue in any respect. -The aero interface does drain your video card fairly. yet you could actual disable domicile windows Aero by utilising changing the subject to classic Mode and it will not often use your pix card's components in any respect. So on your workstation, i might surely propose Vista terrific over XP, it somewhat is going to hold out plenty extra advantageous

You need to re-add the workstation to the domain.
