There are plenty of reliable VPN providers out there that will give you a good level of privacy / encryption for secure browsing. Always best to use one with different country servers. Also good for downloading torrents anonymously and opening up blocked or restricted site.

There are many free ones out there but most are slow and come with spy ware so you have to really shop around. I have been using Free VPN Proxy for a few weeks now and works pretty well at unblocking British & American websites well enough.

There are many paid VPN's out there, the other replies already list some.

Please note that just using a VPN will NOT protect your PC, and will NOT protect your privacy.

A VPN, which essentially changes your IP and encrypts the first part of the connection (up to the VPN server) is just ONE piece of the puzzle. You'll also have to take care of browser cookies and, less well known, browser fingerprinting.

I have used the personal VPN, http://www.surfbouncer.com for several years. They have servers all over the world, high encryption options, virtual machine VPN's, flash drive images and more. Their network is secure and I like being able to watch BBC iplayer outside of the UK by connecting to their UK servers. I also use it to watch Hulu and US network television that is blocked outside of the US by connecting to their USA servers. Lots of connection options and IP's keeps my privacy intact as web sites see me comming from many different IP addresses instead of just one or two.

Comodo TrustConnect (http://www.comodo.com/trustconnect/) is one of them.

It will cost you $6.99 / month if you subscribe monthly or $49.99 if you subscribe annually.

I think it is a reliable one, Comodo is a security company anyway.

Hope this helps :)
