what is the best linux distro?

i want a good linux distro
1.which is the friendliest and super easy to use (i cant buy a mac so i want a linux that is similiar e.g two finger scrolling...)
1.and i am also an android developer, i have used windows till now, but i want to switch to linux for developing, what is the best distro for development(one that doesnt crash, responsive and fast)

Follow the tutorials on howtoforge.com for the perfect Desktop and check some articles on J2EE.grt for install Tomcat, Java etc :)

Try Ubuntu. It seems to be a great OS for beginning Linux users. Do a Google search for Ubuntu

I have been using Linux now for 3 years.

Ubuntu has been my favorite.



And I use the mouse and click....I don't use the command line or terminal.
