I was also facing same issue with my iphone, I tried a lot to fix that at last I just visited http://iphone.customer-supports.com/ and made a call on their toll free. I got instant help for my iphone by a certified technician only in a single call.

I had a similar issue and I was able to resolve it by performing the following steps -

1. Go to Wi-Fi setting and select your network. Click on "Forget this Network".

2. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings.

It prompts you to confirm. Click on Reset all Settings.

Your phone will now restart. Once it's back up, go back to Wi-Fi and connect to your network again. It should work this time without any issues.

Hi,

This is easy:

Go to Settings -> General - > Reset -> Reset Network Settings.

Your Phone will be restarted and all will work great.

Sorry for my english.

Go to settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Then try again. Worked for me :-)

Before you do anything drastic like a restore, try resetting your network settings. I was experiencing the same problem.

Go to settings> general > reset >network settings

I've just had same prob but found a solution on the Internet! On settings an then general if you go onto reset the reset network setting! Everything's fine now!

I was having the same problem on my iPhone 4 & I turned off wifi then turned the phone off. When I turned it back on I turned the wifi on & once I connected to my wifi instead of the apple website coming up saying page not found it said success! I would say try that!! Hope it helps!

This seems to be a new issue with connectivity. I've been working with the Release Candidate for about a week or so, and this did not occur until today. I'm being patient, but if I receive any additional information, I'll post it here.

Edit: I found something that seems to work. If you're using your phone, go to:

Settings -> General -> Cellular -> Switch Cellular Data from Off and then to On again.

This seems to have fixed my issue with connecting to the Wifi at the moment.

Just got it solved;

- went to setting

- wifi

- selected the wifi

- left the phone on the page for a min or 2 for it to have time to cycle back

- home page , and it works.. ;-) on both iphones 4s we just updated with IOS 6

Make sure the ask to join networks is set to on. This is the only thing that worked. Soft boot, reset, resetting the network settings all did nothing. After the update this was reset to off, The majority of the posts show it all working when connecting to the network they are right in front of. However, the problem is when the phone leaves the range of that network and tries to connect to a new one, or comes back and tries to reconnect to the existing..

same problem with me, apple is loading page then wifi can't connect. I have done the hard reset (pressing home + wake button until the apple logo appears) but still the same issue. The solution is to reset the network settings by going to general then reset the reset network settings. I will work for sure

Had same issue

1. I cleaned up some funny DNS entries in my network setting something like 75.75 etc

2. Clicked forget this network

3. Turned wireless off

4. Set the phone in airplane mode

5. Switched off and then turned it on ( didn't see the slide bar that used to appear while turning phone off but anyway )

6. Problem solved

I downloaded it too this morning, to my ipod touch 4th gen, had no wifi problems, turned it back on at end of day here, and yes had wifi connection problem, it would connect, take me to this wierd login page I never had to use, even earlier, then wifi signal gets off, page cannot be found??

So I rebooted it...twice and it seems fine for now.

I just got off the phone with applecare tech support agent who reported this is a know bug, it's happening like crazy, at this time apple is saying it is an error on their end, which should be fixed by tomorrow, in the meantime there are various troubleshooting tips you can do, many are on this questions answers, but even if you do nothing, she thinks it's on apples end, when they fix it, our wifi's will stay fixed even if we do nothing

How to FIX IO6 wifi bug :

1. Set the HTTP Proxy to manual, and then input an IP address in my network and a port number. My network happens to be 192.168.1.x, so I entered the address 192.168.1.1 and port number 3128.

2. Connect to your WiFi network normally. It won't bump you to the Apple page anymore.

3. Use Safari to browse some sites. It will not connect, but that's OK.

4. Go back to your WiFi network setting, and set the HTTP Proxy back to off.

In my case, after step 4 my WiFi connection continues to work and the Apple login page does not reappear. I hope this workaround works for others.

I updated my iPad to iOS6 and then updated my iPhone 4 to iOS6.

iOS6 couldn't connect to the wifi network, then I checked my iPad and noticed that iMessage had a notification about the iPhone 4 having been added to it.

After I dismissed those notifications on the iPad... the iPhone 4 could connect to wifi.

No idea why... but maybe check your other iOS devices?

Every time I would connect to my wifi it would try to take me to apple.com and fail to load the page, then it would drop the wifi connection. Heres what I did to fix it, no idea if this will work for everyone.

1. Open your safari browser and go to apple.com using your cellular connection

2. Go to settings -> Wifi and connect to your wireless

3. Do not click back or your home button, it shouldnt try to navigate you anywhere from here

4. Double click your home button to bring up your apps running in the background

5. Open Safari from the open tasks bar at the bottom and it should take you straight to the apple.com page you already had loaded

This kept my phone from disconnecting from my wireless and I havent had any issues with it since then.

Had the same problem.

Trying to connect to my own WIFI network opened Safari and it would try to connect to a Apple.com webpage that doesn't exist.

FIX:

Settings > Wi-Fi > (Network...) > "Blue Circle Arrow"

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and set:

HTTP Proxy to Auto

I know, stupid thing won't let me join my wifi and kept redirecting to apple.com (where it said, "Hmm, link is not available...)

Anyways, I tried solving this issue over and over and luckily got connected to the wifi network.

Possible solution:

Forget the existing network and re-connect with your wifi router password.

-Turn AutoJoin to ON

..go back, and turn 'Ask to Join Networks' to ON.

It finally worked for me. Not sure if its a bug or just stubborn like that.

PS My mobile data is turned off.

Hope it helps!

Login then click done

Go back to Settings > Wi-Fi and try to connect.

**************READ******** THIS WORKS*********

Ok, so I called AT&T and figured out how to get the wifi on the 4s.

Here's the steps.

1. You have to hook your phone up to the computer, table or anything with Wifi.

2. Go to settings/general/ iTunes Wifi Sync

3. press the Sync now and it should Sync.

Your iPhone 4s has to be plugged in the device for it to work.

It worked for me, hope it works for you. =)

Try restarting you phone. Hold down the power button and the home button until it turns off. Don't let go. Keep holding them until the apple logo appears on the screen. Then try to set it up again. If that doesn't work push the blue button next to your wifi networks name in the list and choose forget this network. The next time you try to join the network it will ask for you network password. Enter it.

I worked for me. Hope it helps

I don't think there is a fix yet, but I updated my iPod touch with it cabled to my computer and through iTunes and it works fine. I updated my wife's iPod touch while it was plugged into a charger and over wifi and hers no longer connects to the Internet. Perhaps trying to plug into iTunes to try and fix? That's my next step...

I had the same problem and I just figured it out. You have to reset your all of your network settings. This means you will have to locate and type in the passwords to all of your favorite networks. Nonetheless it has worked so far.

Go to: Settings - General - Reset (at the bottom) - then click "Reset Network Settings

Connect to your network, type in the password, and you should be back to normal.
