Question:
I got banned from eBay, each time I've set up a new account it's blocked me. How do I fix this?

So each time I set up a new account, it seems to somehow know me. I assume it's due to my routers IP address. So if I got a new router and a new IP address, will this fix the issue? Because I have some friends who want me to sell some things on eBay that could bring in a lot of money (since I'll charge 10%) and this stuff is insanely popular (like a baseball signed by babe Ruth). Like my friend will set up the account and what not with PayPal and eBay, and I'll manage it through my home address.

"Because I have some friends who want me to sell some things on eBay that could bring in a lot of money"

NEVER sell things for a "friend"

cos THEY are not legally responsible for the things you sell, YOU are

You sell something that causes an injury?

YOU are the one thats gonna get sued

You are a fool to sell anything "for a friend" and charge them 10%

course they want you to sell stuff

They get 90% with no risk if things go wrong

you get 10% and get ALL the risk.

apart from that

omg -_-

My friend has everything authorized, he doesn't need any of your advice about authenticating what he has.

He is going to create his own paypal account, eBay account, etc. I'm just getting payed to post it on eBay and manage his listings.

I'll even use my new iPhone 6 plus which has never been registered with eBay if I have to or I'll use a foreign IP address like one at a starbucks.

The reason why I was banned was because I was selling high value items that they wanted proof of purchase of, in other words, they wanted a receipt for everything. Most people don't keep a receipt on something they bought 5+ years ago. So i had no way of providing proof, so they banned me. The items I was selling was around the $300 price range. Most of the stuff i was selling i had even bought off of eBay but they were too stupid to notice that. Even after i pointed it out.

They are making their own accounts. I'm just logging into those accounts that they have made, just so I can post listings for their items, and make those items sell. I was an eBay - er for about 6 years, and over that course I had made approximately $10,000 or so. so i don't need suggestions on what to do to sell listings or anything. I just needed help with the main question.

So if I were to just erase all cookies on safari it should work. I assume.

eBay doesn't ban by IP address. IP addresses can change. NAT allows many computers to share a single public IP address.

Most likely they have dropped a cookie on your machine that tells eBay that you are personna non grata. Additionally they will know that it's you if you use the same PayPal account, credit card, etc.

They can see your Static IP address when you log into your account. You can't change the Static IP address like you can the Dynamic IP address. Not sure what you may have done to get blocked by eBay, but you don't want to get into trouble for fraud by having another identity.

Really, you should contact EBay about the issue if you can. Very carefully read the Terms and Conditions. It's always a good idea to at least glance at the parts of the Terms and Conditions to seem relevant.

The only way to evade an eBay suspension is to join the federal witness protection program.

You are DONE on eBay and it is contagious. If you use anyone else's account, they will be DONE on eBay too. So move on already.

Go to Court get your name changed after that go to Social Security and get a new Social Security number. piece of cake, get new bank accounts and new credit cards new paypal account with new SS number and new name. get a new ISP also

Obvious you are a victim of ID theft 'Cause you didn't change your PW when ebay was hacked and they asked every body to change their PW, you got banned.

been there done that gots the t shirt.

If recognized by a cookie: use FIREFOX and the BETTER PRIVACY Add-on. Tell BETTER PRIVACY to delete all LSO (permanent) cookies.

If recognized by WAN (Internet) IP address: reboot the router and modem. The WAN IP will change then.

If recognized by MAC address: use another laptop or connect by another network adapter (e.g. Ethernet instead of WiFi).

Be careful on how you set up the accounts. Very high chances your IP and cookies are triggering the suspensions.

you were banned - you cannot get around that. and if you're friend has a real Babe Ruth autographed baseball, he needs to get it authenticated and sell it thru a real auction - why can't they get their own accts?

If not a cookie on your computer, they could easily tell if you use the same e-mail address, or from a verified payment method associated with your name, address, etc..
