For a low powered system like yours I recommended Midori. It's a lightweight, a webkit based browser like Safari and Chromium but uses a small footprint on your system. sudo apt-get install midori

I would have to say Midori (http://www.twotoasts.de/index.php?/pages/midori_summary.html ), though Netsurf: http://www.netsurf-browser.org/ is another. You could also go with w3m http://w3m.sourceforge.net/ which is a CLI.
