Sygate personal firewall blocking udp 192.168.1.66 and 192.169.1.68 every 5 to 6 seconds. Am hooked up with att.yahoo using their router, but am wired direct, not using the wireless capability.Just happened since switching over from other cable provider. Am wondering if the wireless part of the modem is trying to communicate since it is so continuous and has gone on for a couple of days. I did not notice when it started.

NO! Do NOT blindly allow traffic to pass thru your firewall. That's like leaving the door to hour house UNLOCKED because people knock on it. You need to investigate this further before doing anything. First, is ANYTHING on your network NOT working? Is there something you could do or some function you could do before that you cannot do now?

TO blindly allow traffic may open you to any number of things, such as remote control programs, bot and zombie attackes and who knows what else. And if your compromised system(s) attacks other systems, you might very well be in for legal or civil action as well. That being said....

nded out by routers (such as the Sygate, LinkSys, DLink, etc) to provide network connectivity inside or behind the router's firewall.

There is no such thing as a 'udp address'. You are speaking of UDP ports. And if you can observe the router log, you need to report what UDP port the router is blocking. Once you discover what port is being blocked, it is simple to do a search and find out, possibly, what those ports are used for. You can find out if the blocked ports are used by hackers for various and nefarious purposes (like BackOrifice, which is a sinister remote control program) or whatever.

If the IPs in question are hammering the OUTSIDE interface of your router, then there is reason to believe that the source addresses are trying to access something inside your internal LAN.

You MUST provide MORE information than this to troubleshoot this issue. If you are NOT using the wireless functions of your router, disable the wireless. YOU must provide more information as to the layout and architecture of your network. I can tell you that hat you are seeing has noting to with wireless on your end. You might have a couple of piggy backers trying to access your router, though. Shut down the wireless features and see if the issue stops.

Also, you NEED to track down the source of the blocked traffic (it very well might be an attack agains you). Like I said, it might be something on your internal NETWORK or something as innocuous as a wireless pinter. Then again it might by one of your neighbor's kids Xbox or Wii or PS3 that is ripping you off by riding your internet connection (That too, is illegal). Track it down and act accordingly.

i for my section think of the 5-a million is a extra suitable device to run. the 4-2 takes away a hitter, so it somewhat is harder to fool the different team. 6-2 remains powerful, yet now's unusual. maximum international, college, and club communities run a 5-a million through fact they desire their hitters to be tuned specifically into that setter's instruments. the only international team i be attentive to that would run a 6-2 is the Brazilian women people's national team, and that replace into in Athens very almost 4 years in the past. a 6-2 is solid to run in case you have tall setters which could hit and block properly, or you haven't any regulations on subs. a 5-a million in simple terms needs a setter which could block properly. it genuinely relies upon on the intensity of the gang as to what device to run, yet while i've got been the coach, i might flow with a 5-a million.
