Do i need Airport Express for mac if my home already has a wireless router?

Right, im buying a Macbook pro soon, and i've always had a windows pc, so im kinda confused...
my home has a Sky Wireless Router, all 3 laptops (that are windows) are connected to it.
when i get my mac, will i NEEED Airport Express to connect to the internet? or will my mac be able to connect to the Sky Wireless Router+ let me on the internet?

Airport Express is just what apple calls their router. Your macbook pro will work fine with any router.
