Our office has upgraded to a T1 and haven't canceled our DSL yet. I was wondering if there is a way to utilize the DSL to coexist with the T1 to increase bandwidth? (Kind of like a Bonded T1, Dual ISDN, ect.) If so, what software do I need and how much would it cost?

There are lots of firewall/routers which will allow you to have multiple ISP connections, but I don't know of any which will let you bond DSL and a T1. That "bonding" typically happens at the ISP level - not at your network.

We multiple ISP connections setup using pfSense firewalls, but we use them for failover, not bonding.

The throughput on a T1 is barely a million.5 mbps, it extremely is exceptionally sluggish whilst in comparison with what's attainable with FIOS and cablevision, or perhaps DSL is attainable at equivalent velocity. the adaptation is the a million.5 mbps is for upload or get carry of, it oftentimes connects directly to the internet 'cloud' as antagonistic to maximum ISP's which upload 2 or 3 routers (and the linked lag time with them included) before it reaches the comparable place, and it handles documents greater effectively typical. additionally, T1 is exceptionally plenty unaffected through the form of customers. a common router to a T1 can accommodate some hundred customers (doing accepted cyber web stuff, no longer downloading movies and song) at the same time as a house setup will start to lavatory down after 7 or 8 customers.

You need to install Microsoft ISA server, and find an ISA server pro to set it up for you.
