?

Every time I try to connect to my WiFi there is an authentication problem. I am typing in the correct password required and capitalizing what needs to be capitalized. I have an android moto e and it just seems like no matter what I do it won't connect. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do? I have tried what seems like everything and nothing works.

If you are talking about your wifi passphrase, you can change that from the wifi router/access point setup page. If you forgot what the password to the router is, try the default one (which you can find on the vendor's support web page) or you can do a factory reset on the router and just set it up again.

Are you able to connect the phone to another wifi ?

Have you try to connect it to an open wifi?

Are you able to connect other devices using that password ?

If you are able to connect other devices---> password is good , no problem with the router check your phone.

If you are able to connect that phone to other wifi network--->maybe the problem is your router,

Try long-pressing on the wifi and hitting forget. Then try to connect again. If that is not working then odds are the pw you are typing is wrong.
