Loss of LAN network & RAM spike.?

Just yesterday my LAN network stopped working. It has been fine no issues until then. I get an unidentified network message so I try diagnose & I only get the same fix. Unplug the box & plug it back in. Also probably should be aware it is a box that just plugs into the outlet so you have a wired connection. I'm not sure how to really describe it. Anyway box goes into the outlet & has an ethernet port for the cord that plugs into the computer & voila you have wired internet. Right now I'm running off my wireless network card because of this issue.
Just an hour ago my RAM memory usage spiked. I have Advanced System Care Performance monitor & it read 5-6% usage with nothing happening (only background programs) now it is at 35% steady. I'm really lost as to the cause of this. I've ran all my Anti-virus software (Advanced SystemCare, CCleaner, Spybot, Malwarebytes). I've looked at the processes in TaskManager & they have normal memory usage.

High performance settings on your laptop on a wireless network when your laptop is unplugged will use more resources than when your are hardwired with your laptop plugged into the wall outlet and the modem.

Another point of interest, is to make sure that both of your RAM modules are fully inserted into their respective bays. If one is out, or loose, then you are only operating on a single module, which will certainly spike your usage.

Another point of interest is that your issue may be related to heat build-up around the processor if you have recently used the machine on you lap a whole lot. Heat builds up, and performance lags, and memory usage goes up while that laptop is on your lap.

They really should have been called portable desktops.

Hope this helps.

This is pretty easy to fix. Many of my friends and I have had the same problem, so I decided to make a program for it. It didn't take too long but it should fix your problem. If you have any questions, or if there's a bug, please feel free to email or message me

KNOWN BUGS: This works only if you use chrome, opera, or Internet Explorer as your main browser. It is NOT compatible with firefox. If you use firefox I'd recommend using Chrome for now and importing all your data over (do this before you run the program)

Hope this helps :) I'd appreciate it if this got best answer so I could more people with problems like this!
