Try connecting either of the computer or the laptop to the internet without using the D-Link DIR-625 Router. See if you still have the same problem.
If you still have the same problem, BACKUP THE CURRENT CONNECTION SETTINGS(write them on paper or save screen-shots) and try reconfiguring the connection (http://www.comcast.com/customers/faq/FaqDetails.ashx?ID=4144).
If the problem is not solved:
Option 1) Consider doing a good virus/malware scan of your computer and/or laptop. I recommend using MalwareByte's Anti Malware, Spybot Search and Destroy, AdAware and I'll leave the antivirus choice up to you. If you need help choosing an anti-virus, check out cnet.com
Option 2) Contact comcast and ask for support.
If the problem is resolved, then place back the router and connect to the internet again. If you obtain the same problem again, then there might be some reconfiguration to be done at the router level.
If the router is provided by comcast, contact them, and they will guide you through the correct procedure.
Otherwise try finding your way out on this page - http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=501
I would not advise you to download torrents at this point as torrents are a potential source of malware (trojan, worm, virus...).
After you have solved the issue, then you may use torrents if you wish.
