I am a II Year Engg student. We have practised Linux programs in SSH Secure Shell Client. When i downloaded a copy of SSH Secure Client and tried to run it, it asks for the host name without which its denies my access. How to resolve this problem?

You can't connect TO the client, the client connects to the server.

You need to know the host name (or ip address) of the server you are connecting to (and we have no idea what server you are trying to connect to, so we can't tell you what it is).

you prefer a ssh server on the different workstation. On a abode windows device it may be pointless to distant hook up with it by ssh provided that there truly are no longer alot of instructions interior the console. For linux in simple terms acquire open-ssh and tell it to run. which would be your server. For os x, im constructive you will get open ssh or in simple terms tell osx to run ssh.

you are using the client, u'd connect to a host.

get the host name, connect to it, enter your login info and get workin.
