I want to keep this IP i have and if i used dynamic DNS, made a domain to my current IP address and turned dynamic DNS on with my router and set the host to the domain i made would it keep my ip the same?
Should i make more than one host or would one be enough?

I use www.no-ip.com Its free and Ive used it for 5 years and its great
Another solution would be try logmein.com' himachi free which lets you connect 2 computers together with no outside dyndns. Its really cool.

I'm getting a little annoyed with answering this same question over and over. Will people please search to see if this has been answered already before posting.
The Dyndns service has absolutely nothing to do with whether your IP is static or dynamic.
Your IP is controlled by your ISP and they are the ONLY ones who can issue you a static IP address.
Most ISP's do not offer a static IP address service, a few offer static IP's at an extra charge and very few offer a static IP as standard. If your ISP offered a static IP as standard then you would have one already.
The Dyndns service just keeps a host name updated with your current IP address to try and keep the name always pointing to you. Go and read Dyndns's website properly then kick yourself for not reading it properly and jumping to conclusions.

"Most ISP's do not offer a static IP address service" - I think that was a typo.
Most ISP's DO offer a static IP address service - you almost always have to pay a nominal extra fee for it. $5-$20 per month.
That's the only way to ensure that you maintain the IP. You pay for it.
