I am currently only getting one bar signal from my parents router, they are on the other side of the house and there is alot of interferance

Thankfully i can still run my xbox and pc most of the time, pc almost always connects, but xbox rarely does

I don't have access to their router because they are afraid i will ruin it, is there any way i can get better signal without having that access?

They never use they're computers, and if they do its for email, so they wouldn't notice the lack of bandwidth if its possible to focus on mine

We are away from other houses so we didn't put a password on our wifi signal, i can connect to it with anything no problem, but from my room the signal is terrible, can i use my pc to either access and change the router settings, or somehow make it focus on increasing the signal my way?

You do not control router bandwidth from a pc - you do not control router bandwidth at all. Your ISP has a committed bandwidth rate for your service and this controls te speed. Now you can, with appropriate routers and managed switches, allocate and prioritize available bandwidth. Low end home grade routers and unamanged switches cannot do this. You do not control these from your pc either; you control it in the configuration of routers and managed switches (although you do initially configure routers and managed switches from the pc).

You need a repeater

Basically, its a box that sits in the middle of the house, recieves the wireless signal and retransmits it to extend the range of the system
