Need help removing laptop password?

My mate has a laptop and he put a password on it but cannot remember it. I'm not sure what type of password it is but its not a standard password. Here is a video of how the laptop boots and what the password is like so i need help removing it.

call the company that made it, you probably will have to reset it to default, so you will lose everything on your computer,unless you backed it up

Since the password appears before any operating system it sounds like it was setup using the laptop's BIOS. When you boot the laptop it will show what key to press to enter the BIOS, once in the BIOS look for an option that will allow you to change the Hard Disk Drive password. Some computers by the way will not allow you to change the HDD password.

If it is a BIOS password, you will need to take your laptop apart to access the CMOS battery. Once you get that out for 10 secs, it will clear any customised settings, including BIOS passwords. Once you put it back in your password will be removed. Youtube will likely have a tutorial for your model of laptop to get it stripped down for access to the CMOS.

is thios theadmin passwrod you are missing?? if so, theres not much i can do, but if not you can go onto an admin account and do it from there.
