I'm attempting to dual boot my pc with Windows Vista (default OS) and linux. But i can't install Fedora 10 because of "Out of frequency" issue with my monitor. Here's some of my pc's specs.

32-bit windows vista home premium
1.5 GB memory RAM
refresh rate 60 Hz and 75 Hz

So far what i did is to try lowering the resolution (until 600x800) and also tried using 60Hz and 70 Hz refresh rate. I tried also updating video driver(Pnp Monitor) but at no success. I can suuccessfully install it thru Text Mode though. But I want to intsall it in GUI mode. Please somebody help me what to do.
Thanks in advance.

p.s. the image i'm using is Fedora-10-i386-DVD.iso

I left Fedora a protracted time in the past, for stable reasons, whilst I nevertheless admire it. I do have some suggestion nonetheless. The final time i grew to become into on it you should boot the setting up disk as a rescue CD. in case you won't manage to then receive a rescue CD. the subsequent step is to mount your confusing force and chroot to the / itemizing on your confusing force. Then run xorgconfig or xorgcfg. attempt xorgcfg first. It tries out an x-abode windows configuration and if it works writes it to the configuration record in /etc/X11. If it would not supply you a usable config record, run xorgconfig it rather is a text textile based software which asks you questions like, what style of mouse you employ, what number keys are on your keyboard, what your pictures card is and what the horizontal and vertical refresh expenditures to your computer screen is (which you would be able to often ask the place you acquire it from or seem up on line). It writes your solutions to the config record. I constantly made specific I booted Linux in text textile mode then stated as up abode windows till I switched to Debian. between the latter's unfavourable aspects is that it is so confusing to change, whilst in comparison with Fedora. Ahh. I only checked the Fedora FAQ. Boot up your first setting up disk yet rather of hitting enter on the boot: on the spot form linux rescue. I only got here upon a message interior the linuxcoding lists which says do no longer use xorgcfg. It shows possibilities and that i've got related to it in aspects.
