What kind of connection do you need to run multiple dedicated web hosting servers?

I've been curious about this for a while seeing how I would like to get into it as a side job sort of thing once I'm out of college but I'm completely stumped.

So the questions are basically.

-What kind of connection would you need to be able to keep multiple dedicated servers stable and lag free? (servers for web hosting and game hosting).

-How do you go about getting such a connection? Do only certain ISP's offer it? Is it just a well above average connection? Or is it something you have to own a company just to get?

-How much would such a connection cost? Most dedicated servers cost you about $300-900 a month on a lot of host reseller sites so I'm sure the connection would cost quite a bit(And I know there is probably a higher profit margin so they can pay off the machine itself)

Any information is appreciated . And if it's possible give information for many variables because I have no clue what I'd like to aim for ( host 10 websites or hosting 100+ if you know what I mean )

If you want to get by cheaply, use several normal connections (one for each server) and Dyn DNS.
