DSL comes across the normal phone line along with normal telephone. Your telephone company will set up this service and send you a DSL modem.

Yes you can connect your dsl to a phone line but you have to get line filters for any of the phones connected to the jack. The filters should come with the dsl box. if you don't have any ask your internet company or go buy some they are really cheap.

Correct but you need to contact your phone company or a DSL provider first to see if the local hub is close enough for a good quality high speed connection otherwise you will be wasting your time and money getting DSL.

I only upgraded to DSL a like a month or so in the past and my modem, got here with DSL filters, you are able to look on the area, and that they must say DSL filter out, mine got here with like 4. hopefully you get it to paintings.

Um, yeah, that's how dsl works. You can't do it any other way. (Well, you can, but commercially available DSL in the US is rarely available any other way.) They provide you with filters to put on your phones to screen out the dsl "noise"
