When I go to enable mode and type sh run I see the config file in router RAM exist but when I type sh start I get startup-config is not present meaning NVRAM don't have it ... I read in book that it has to be there initially when you get new router unless someone removed configuration file from NVRAM. I misunderstood something or it router?

NVRAM is non volatile RAM, meaning that when the device is not powered on that memory can still be retained. On the other hand, RAM is volatile so if the router is restarted or the power goes out the configuration in RAM will be lost.

When you buy a new router there shouldn't be any configuration yet however, if you have configuration in RAM (running-config) you can enter "copy running-config startup-config" and this will copy the running-config to the startup-config. If the router is rebooted it will lose the running-configuration and will check the startup-configuration and then load that to restore the settings.

Hope this helps,

Cheers

There's probably no "easy" way to set it up. Normally you need to use a console cable for the initial setup. That's not a job for the inexperienced. Most if not all of the 800 series routers are past their End-of-Life with Cisco so you're very limited on the help that you can get from them. Some have a web interface installed, either CRWS or SDM but you'll often need to use a console cable to tell which one is installed especially if the DHCP server service has been disabled on it. Beyond that, go the the Cisco website and search on the specific 800 series model that you have for more specific information.
