Im using a Windows 10 Pro Desktop.
My wireless adapter is compatible: RealTek8187B.
-The event ID says: [+] Wlan AutoConfig has failed to connect to the network.

I can connect to the wifi perfectly fine at home, with my phones hotspot, but not my schools wifi. I really just want to know how to deal with Event ID 8002 because it is hard to find a solid solution on this problem. When connecting to my schools wifi, the network adapter connects, disables, reenables, then the message says "Can't Connect to this network".

I assume this is in some sort of dorm (since it's a desktop). Does your dorm/school require devices to be "registered" with IT before they start working?

it means your wifi card and its drivers, dont like the wifi signal of the router or vice versa. or to put it another way, they fail to negotiate and agree on a stable set of communications. probably because each one implements a slightly different subset of each feature. with all wifi card drivers, you get a long list of advanced settings, including what choices of wifi signal standards eg a/b/g/n/2.4/5/ etc. I suggest you start turning these from the AUTO settings which clearly dont last long before they get miffed with each other, to say N which is old enough now to be compliant both ends one would hope. Newer drivers ought to help gradually remove the issue. us an app to confirm channel selection is optional. ie by looking to see how polluted localy the wifi channels are in your area, and change the numbers in the router to use the BEST most EMPTY channel number.

You need to contact the schools IT department to help you troubleshoot this
