I need to connect to my office server from my home to check some thing most of the time. But I don’t have Public IP to configure and go for VPN connection.

I need some software which should work as VPN server without a need of Public IP
No matter it’s a windows or linux.
Can any one suggest me any solution?

It is possible.

look up the site www.no-ip.com. They can tell you how to get pass the public IP requirement. But you are stateing it wrong a public IP is not right. All internet connections have a public IP address. You might think that you need a static IP. One that stays the same all the time. This costs extra. You do not. most consumer level ISPs that provide internet access provide a dynamic IP address. They can change it at will. and you get a new one when ever you connect to the internet. You can see you present public IP address with www.canyouseeme.org.

Smoothwall and or SME server. These are linux products that you can down load for free. They have a simple one computer VPN that you can set up for free and access your home computer or network. I have used both. Successfully.

You should do more yahoo searches to get familiure with the terms and what you need to do. You can do this.

Good luck.

Use a proxy. Then again free proxies are generally so slow they are unusable anyway. You can't hide your IP. When you request data (like a webpage), your IP is the address the data is sent back too. If you forged your own IP, you could not surf the web, or use any program that communicates over the internet.

I don't think that's possible. VPN software tunnels through the internet to a network. It would need the public IP address.

To check office PC from home you need to use remote desktop, your office computer must be fixed dynamic forced IP settings or Static IP configured.
