Your Internet Provider is your ISP [Internet Service Provider].

=

Your ISP has only a certain range of IP addresses to use.

- The IP address change will not be large.

-

Test: IP Address: http://whatismyipaddress.com/

- Reset modem: With a straightened paperclip, press RESET button momentarily.

- Wait 60 secs.

Well your internet provider is actually what your ISP (Internet Service Provider) is. Your IP address is a unique number given to your computer when accessing the Internet. Nobody else has this number and you can be identified by it. Typically, resetting your cable/dsl model will result in a new IP address being assigned to you.

You are free to change your ISP at any time, but yes you would need to call them. Also be sure to check and see if there is another provider in your area.

If you want to look at porn and not get caught, use Tor proxy, torrents or usenet.
