SharePoint meeting workspaces are good for putting together a list of tasks to work from and documents associated with that meeting.

Netmeeting is good for having voice and video capabilities.

You can actually create a sharepoint meeting workspace and then add a netmeeting object to the site so that you can launch netmeeting from the workspace and still have the tasks and documents in a central location.

Do you have a server setup? What kind of bandwidth do you have? Netmeeing works great but is somewhat limited. Sharepoint can be finicky about bandwidth.
