I just got Ubuntu 9.04 for my laptop. What is a good bittorrent client that works with Ubuntu/Linux? And how can I make it work?

The default torrent client for Ubuntu is Transmission which is more than adequate

I use Vuze formerly Azureus http://www.vuze.com The best. Built in you should have ktorrent in Synaptic.
