does HTTP server have the same meaning with web server?

nginx is a kind of web server in ubuntu. apache is a http server. does they're same?

Nginx doesn't "come" with Ubuntu per se, just someone was nice enough to make an outdated package of it. But yes Nginx, Lighttpd, Cherokee, Apache, are all http-based webservers.
