if i have 2 computers linked via a wireless add hoc network, can i send files from one computer to another???

yes you can go to my network places go to view network computer and the other PC should be listed there as the computer name

Yes, go to your network places and set up a network through your wizard. You can share files and even a printer. Very easy just follow the instructions.

YES...you can. it works like any other network. you can even share internet if you have internet on one computer.



make sure u have TCP/IP installed in both the wireless networks and MS File and Printer sharing.

once the computers are in range you can access the files on the other one provided you have set the permission to share.

Yes. You can use Windows shares (SMB protocol), FTP, HTTP, SCP, or whatever you like to transfer files between the to computers.

For windows shares, the easiest way if both PC-s are in the same workgroup. you can always use \\computername\\folder in IE, to reach a file on the share.

Yes. Set up file sharing on your drives. Make sure they both have a uniform protocol like NetBIOS

Why don't you just plug a USB cable into one, then to the other and one should be identified as a mass storage device - transfer the files you want to. Should be very quick.

Yes,but you have to have them in the shaed files folder.
