Try PRTG Traffic Grapher from Paessler. We've used it for years at work. Its very easy to use and I believe it actually has a fully functional free version.

the best way to do that is a server behind the router. I have a mandriva linux server with all the logging options for who(on my network) goes where and what IP's out in internet world try to come in. You can use an old machine and install a simple ubuntu or mandriva linux server with dhcp and you are good to go

Go to your router http://192.168.2.1. Look under LAN setup for DHCP Client List. That will tell you everyone using it.
