Bell South merged with AT&T months ago. I have the fast access DSL with AT&T and I do not have any problems with it. My daughter's ex boyfriend had the internet with AT&T that was very slow but it was cheaper. He had too many problems with it and it would take a long time for the sites to come up. I also live in Georgia.

I rather have 7Mb/768Kb from Verizon business enterprise. interior the start it grow to be dismal. After diverse talks and a substitute board on the NOC i will get surprisingly much that quantity even nonetheless you're able to be able to desire to found out some issues. Your ping is surprisingly reliable. yet ping is relative. in case you ping a device down the line or worldwide extensive it ought to alter in velocity via community connectivity exterior of your and your ISP's administration. Time of day could additionally impact this. As for buying 648-seven hundred it rather is great. bear in mind the ISP's supply you the whole quantity of bandwidth even nonetheless each packet sent and won has a splash overhead. So while you're downloading a report or working a velocity try to that's coming down at 648KB the rest ought to be slowed via that overhead. Plus the sending website could have their bandwidth capped. ultimately are you calculating Kilobytes or Kilobits? Yep there's a distinction. lots of the bandwidth specs fro ISP's are Kilobits that are smaller than Kilobytes. Now to enhance or no longer is as much as you. Do you do diverse downloading or only common surfing? Do you play bandwidth heavy video games or common card video games? Granted cable has a incredible velocity earnings over DSL yet maximum individuals observe that interior the early night the internet slows down lots because of the upward thrust in interior sight consumers. DSL does not have just about as lots undertaking. Upgrading DSL could desire to be waiting to grant you greater effective speeds with little worry (different than if ATT does not have their act at the same time) even nonetheless it seems such as you're pleased with the value and the value so i might say save on preserving on!

go to their site and put in your number. it will tell you if it is available or not. If not, call them and ask them if they plan to rollout any time soon.
