I want to get the display from a unix terminal on my windows(xp) PC. I am using telnet. Any suggestion?

I am connecting to a unix machine from my windows (XP) PC. I am getting the terminal to work with. Now I want the display from that terminal to be thrown/shown on my PC. Please suggest!

there's a few things you can do... you can use 1.) x-windows, 2.) cygwin, or 3.) vnc. if you use x, you'll need to install an x server/emulator program on your pc. these are typically not free. well, at least, the good ones aren't. you can find a free one; just google it. you'll also have to configure the client (your unix box). vnc is used more for remote desktop control and allows you to see the actual desktop as if you were standing at the console. cygwin allows you to run unix within your windows environment. by doing that, you wouldn't need an x server program for windows since it's already built-in to most, if not all, unix-based os's. which, is what cygwin is, just a scaled-down version. therefore, it's free to use. you would just have to configure it. here's some info to help you get started. good luck.

I don't quite understand your question - if you are connected via Telnet, you should already be seeing the display from that Unix machine.
