You need a wireless G Expander

I have one: "Linksys Wireless G Expander"

this will boost the signal of your router so your laptop can receive it. Simply plug it into your wall and click "auto-configure".

If your WiFi is password protected you will have to install the expander on your laptop.

This roughly costs $100 and can be purchased from BestBuy.

Well, I don't know if English is your first language or not, but you could try being a little more clear in your explanation. At first it sounds like you are talking about expanding a wired network, then all of a sudden we are talking Wireless!

If you are just talking about a wired connection, then you can add a switch to the router to get more ethernet wired ports. Not need for a router.

If you need to do something to expand Wi-Fi range because you cannot reach the WiFi you are using, then you could hook up a wired connect for a WiFi router to your existing router and set up another WiFi access point there to extend your range. There are also WiFi range extenders that are meant to repeat the WiFi traffic in an effort to extend range.

You can do that but, having more then one router isn't really practical in a home situation. It would be better to move your router closer to where your computer is, or better yet, since your laptop has Wi-Fi, just move closer to the router.

Well, when I set up my router, it gave me the option to connect it with another router. And I did that, my Internet works fine.

So I believe you should be able to.
