It depends on what you are connecting at the end. The usual limit for USB is 5m as the data bits get "blurred" along the cable length. Something simple like a memory stick might be ok, a webcam or hard disk probably not. You can get extension leads with a data amplifier built in to improve performance, but these steal a lot of the 500ma power feed and active devices often won't work on them.

The USB specification limits the length of a cable between full speed (or high speed) devices to 5 meters (16 feet 5 inches) and for low speed devices the limit is 3 meters (9 feet 10 inches). This means you can't just connect a bunch of extension cable together and run them 30 feet to another room but you can say connect a 6 foot and 10 foot cable for a total of 16 feet.
Most USB products are full speed (or high speed USB 2.0) and have the 5 meter limit. Low speed devices are generally keyboards and mice.
You can use extension cables and up to 5 USB powered hubs connected together to extend USB's range up to 30 meters (98 ft.) or up to 27 meters for low speed devices. The distance between each hub can be no more than 5 meters.

Well you can probably connect two 5 meter lengths together, and three might work also.
Don't know--you could try it. But you're pushing it.
The longer the cable, the more the voltage drop.
Sooner or later your USB device just isn't going to have enough juice to get the job done.

for USB 2.0, i am sad to say that it is recommended to have a maximum of 5m. this is because the amount of voltage vastly drops beyond this point and your device is unlikely to work, or work correctly.
take a look at the first question on the FAQ from the official USB website...

Hope I helped.

You can, but you'll probably lose too much because of all the connections. Try googling "long usb leads" or similar, they are available made for the purpose.

you can but i think you will need some powered usbs to make them all work i think 192 usb ports you can connect total to one pc
