I don't reommend tor browsing. Not if you are going to be doing personal business. Tor browsing has it's place in bypassing certain security but you put yourself at potential risk because you are passing your information through a hive of nodes that are essentially personal pc which can simply tap your traffic and extract important information. If you are going to use tor I'd recommend using it in areas that does not require you to login.

TOR browser, is a browser, just like you use, but with a few differences, it masks your IP address, that can be traced, and it can access .onion websites, that has a network popularly known as Deep Web or DarkNet, that it is an "Internet" that has more contents that the regular one you use on your daily basis.

If you're curious to know what the Deep Web has, it has basicly drug markets, child pornography, classified documents and some good things too. And most illegal.
