You need to upgrade them to XP Professional. This will enable the domain controller member options in the "System" control panel under "Computer Name". Then, you can configure your server (either Win 2000 Server, Win 2003 Server, Windows Server 2008, or a Mac or Unix machine running Samba) as a domain controller and join them to it. This will allow you to create roaming profiles with Active Directory or Open Directory easily.

For starters, it is easy to map "My Documents" to a share on the file server. For true roaming profiles, you may want to install SBS (small business server).

Windows Home Server will also do the job with less cost and reduced complexity. Go to the Microsoft web site and look for WHS.

definite you're on the main appropriate music.. warm table = shifting from table to table and roaming profiles fits this completely because of the profile being server ingredient and with the flexibility to be retrieved/copied to any close by copmuter upon logon. use of a company layout laptop may be the assigning of team rules i think of? so standardising each and every of the profiles - what utility they are able to/cant use etc. create 6 usr bills for temp artwork stress, positioned them in a tempstaff OU and prepare team rules for his or her logon hours, and appropraite permissions for the community.
