Hi all,
I have an wireless router (DLink DIR-635) and some wireless network adapter(DLink DWA-520).
I config it and connect it to DSL modem and config internet info on it.
router is connected; but some web sites aren't accessible!
For example, Yahoo! web site(home page) is accessible and when i type yahoo.com in per client, the home page is shown. and other web sites like microsoft.com and ...
But some websites!!! eg. websites like msn.com isn't shown.
Also when I ping msn.com (from per client and from router web interface), cann't resolve! DNS servers also set correctly(I don't set manually, these set auto from ISP).
Please help me, Special setting is required?
Note: some web sites like http://answers.yahoo.com is accessible after refreshing some times, but some sites like msn.com isn't accessible.

Well, if it were the DNS, you wouldn't be able to access any sites via the name.

The best way to test to see if it is the router is to disconnect the internet WAN connection from the router and plug it in directly to your computer. If you continue to have the problem, then it is one of two things. Either it is the ISP(doubtful) or it is something on your pc. It could be anywhere from a misconfigured host file due to a virus, to something with your net card. Very difficult to diagnose with this much info unfortunately.

Well it could be a the router Level but, the first thing i would do is verify the settings in IE. Click tools-> internet option->connections-> LAN settings-> and make sure the automaticaly detect settings is checked. The other thing is to unplug the modem and the router. Connect them modem after about 10 seconds wait till all the lights are on then plug in the router, wait for all the lights to come on. Try accessing again.

Check wireless strength, phone and dsl filters, and wires first.

Have you tried the repair function?

Check settings on firewall, this router has a built in firewall (I have same router)

Go to setting on the receiving computer (Network settings)and reset them.

All fails call your isp, will take a few hours to get through, but they can reset your connection and renew your ip from there. I had to do this often, (With Yahoo/SBC)

Just some suggestions, Good luck!!!
