Okay I'm paying for a cable package that is 10mb/sec. I typically just get 1.2 mb/sec and the most. However lately my download speed hasn't gone past 100kb/sec, yet my upload speed is normal (95kb/sec). I have reset my router to factory, and everything possible.
My ISP is Suddenlink. Please help.

Some ISPs have a type of systems which they suggest you to use download accelerators to use the maximum bandwidth Available for you at the time. You'd better to ask your isp about their policies about using download accelerators .
If they haven't any problem with that, you can use Internet Download Manager (IDM) or Download accelerator Plus (DAP)

attempt this: turn off your router thoroughly, anticipate 20 seconds, turn it on lower back. the reason being, once you spend a superb kind of time with the comparable IP your internet providor places you "on the backside of the line". by restarting the router you get on acceptable lower back and the fee would be lower back rapid. it extremely is got here approximately to me numerous cases. solid success.
