Hi guys,
Im running windows 7 and google chrome browser.
Google.com has not been working for a couple of days now, google chrome gives me an error stating: Oops! Google Chrome could not find Google
All other websites are working perfectly, i have also looked through other forums, and already tried suggestions like, rebooting computer, checking for virus, and carefully checking my fire wall. None of these options seem to work for me. I don't believe this is caused by a virus because i did a full system scan yesterday, and today.

Thanks for all your help!
EDIT: I have done CMD then pinged GOOGLE.COM and this is my result: Pinging gooogle.com [74.125.236.80] with 32 bytes of data:

Try editing the HOST file: http://helpdeskgeek.com/windows-7/windows-7-hosts-file/

The HOST file was originally designed to speed DNS lookup but it can also be used to block websites.

look for any line with Google in it or it's IP address and delete it. Save the file and reboot your system.

or you can try adding the following line.

Add this save and reboot.

74.125.236.80 www.google.com

(there is a space between the number 0 and letter w) If that don't work try Google site from another country like Canada. www.google.ca

Go to your old browser and see if you can get on google. so if you were using internet explorer try it on there. If you can please try to connect through chrome. If you cant then check the settings on your new browser.
