My wireless networking hardware not working?
I have a HP Pavillion dv6000 and it runs vista. My wireless internet usually works but for some reason it is not working today. My internet for all my other computer is working. It is not finding any wireless connections, and when i diagnose the problem it says that wireless network adapter not installed. Even though i have one, it is the little switch at the bottom of the laptop. Iv tried turning off my laptop and turning it on and flipping the switch back and forth. PLEASE HELP! :(

Go to the HP website. Download the drivers for your wifi adapter. Install them. Restart. Done.

im not an expert bu I would try these steps unplug the power to the router for a few seconds. Reboot the computer and go to the start button hit the connect to button and select your wireless connection if it is listed

Its the modem. you could hook up with the router, however the modem transfers the internet to the router. Wait...in case you're utilising AT&T, then you certainly could be utilising sattelitte connection, real? i won't be able to help you there. Sorry.
