Add a SERVER (not a desktop) to your network, configure its basic network settings and point your router at it. The TFTP server is enabled by default but you can deactivate it and reactivate it on the config tab of the server window (double click on it in the topology diagram). Select TFTP from the list on the left. The files you can serve are not configurable but the default list includes everything you need.

Im guessing you want to send and retreive the IOS image file from the TFTP server.



Firstly click on PT server and drag one onto your topology and connect it. configure it with an IP address and then you can download IOS images from there.

Uhhhh well, you usually use aTFTP server for a specific task (such as uploading firmware to an embedded device such as a router, Tivo, NAS etc.)



So, umm refer to the instructions on that guide.



Personally, I prefer TFTP D32 since it has a DHCP service as well.....
